Financial Fitness Luncheon

11AM-1PMJoin us for our Financial Fitness Luncheon with Financial Advisors, Sara Asatiani and Brent Gray. The focus will be on smart spending during the holidays and core financial planning. Our goal of the event is not to become experts on finances but to feel more comfortable and confident in asking tough questions to manage our personal finances.

Sports Media Career Journey Panel

This month, we're sitting down with three of the biggest names in Seattle sports media: Angie Mentink, Shannon Drayer, and Elise Woodward.

Angie Mentink is an anchor for Root Sports Northwest and co-anchor of the television program Mariners Live. Shannon Drayer is a sports journalist who covers the Seattle Mariners for 710 AM KIRO, the ESPN Radio. Elise Woodward is a sports broadcaster at the Pac-12 Network, IMG Sports Network, and Seattle Storm.

The three journalists will come together to talk about their individual career journeys, their experience working in sports in Seattle, and more. Join us for a special two-hour Poker PowHER introductory workshop on Tuesday, September 8th from 6-8 pm PST. Together, we will learn the basic skills needed to confidently sit at the poker table, including hand strength, bet sizing, when to hold, and when to fold.

You will leave with basic game knowledge and confidence to sit at the table. It's time women had a seat - and a chance to win - at every table!

No previous poker experience is necessary. We will be learning the basics of the game in small groups with an instructor and then playing a few games to build up your confidence and skills.

Poker Powher is a women-led initiative to teach poker to one million women. They aim to “flip the table” on the male-dominated game and empower players beyond poker with the skills taught through the game: discipline, confidence, risk-tolerance, and strategic thinking.
