Committee Members

Volunteering is a great way to network with other members, and build relationships! All committees work collaboratively and meet in person, or by tele-conference as needed. Committee members must be current WISE Seattle members.

Partnerships

As a non-profit networking organization, we rely heavily on partners and alliances to deliver programs and valuable resources to our members. The Partnerships Committee focuses on creating revenue-generating opportunities for the chapter, secures event sponsorships, and special promotional offers for WISE Seattle members.

The committee seeks members with a background in sponsorship sales, fundraising, partnership marketing, new business development, or brand management. Experience working with non-profit organizations/associations is helpful.

Finance

The Finance Committee coordinates all of WISE Seattle's finances from overall operational strategy to invoicing and expense tracking. The committee is a great fit for members with a background in finance or accounting. Experience working with non-profit organizations/associations is helpful.

Mentorship

The national signature program of WISE, WISE Within is an integrated, guided mentoring program with a proven track record of providing valuable career resources. The Mentorship Committee works to facilitate WISE’s national mentoring program in the Seattle region and is involved in the execution of all phases of the program including mentor to mentee matching and overseeing three facilitated mentoring sessions held during the program cycle, May-November. 

Members with expertise in recruiting, human resources, professional development, and events are needed on this committee.

Membership

The committee is involved in improving the member journey and overall member experience and build strong relationships with existing members. And communicate with members to increase loyalty and retain their investment with WISE Seattle.

Our Membership Committee knows how to “work a room” at chapter events and activities to make non-members feel welcome and educate them on WISE. Members who enjoy meeting and interacting with a cross-section of new people with experience in sales, recruiting, development, and events are invited to join the team.

Women of Inspiration

The committee is dedicated to organizing and executing the annual Women of Inspiration award, including the application process, public voting, and awards ceremony.

Marketing

This committee is the energy behind WISE Seattle's social media, content management, and website management. Chapter members with strong social media strategy, social media activation/production skills, content development experience, design skills, and marketing know-how are sought for this committee. The Digital/Tech team works closely across all committees to connect members and the general public. the Marketing Communications team to connect with members and the general public.

Programming

    The Programming Committee plans and coordinates all WISE Seattle monthly events and signature events. The committee is an ideal fit for members with a background in events, production, and event marketing who want to focus on two large-scale projects annually. Experience working with non-profit organizations/associations is helpful.
