Seattle, WA. - (October 10, 2022) - With the launch of their new award, the Seattle Women in Sports and Events (WISE) Chapter will recognize a woman in our community who shares in WISE Seattle’s desire to leave a lasting impact on future generations of women in the sports and events industries.
The Women of Inspiration (WOI) Winner will encourage an inclusive community that promotes diversity and equity, and empower personal and professional growth of those in the sports and events industry while evolving the industry so it continues to thrive in years to come.
Thirty-six nominations were submitted highlighting incredible women and their contributions to their local communities. After much review, our board selected four finalists who all exemplify the chapter's vision and core pillars. With the help of our technology sponsor Tagboard, we were able to highlight our four WOI finalists and ask our community to vote for who they think should be the winner.

The WOI Finalists will be honored and the Winner announced at the Seattle Sports Commission’s annual Women’s Leadership Breakfast on Friday, October 14th.

The 2022 WISE Seattle Women of Inspiration award winner will receive a WISE membership and a cash donation from WISE Seattle and its partners to be distributed to the non-profit or organization of the winner's choice to continue to Encourage, Empower and Evolve Women in Sports & Events in our community.
